The International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

An independent, non-governmental global organization responsible for creating and issuing standards that enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of services, products, and systems. Comprising national standard bodies from more than 160 countries, ISO promotes international trade by establishing universal standards across nations. It spans many sectors, such as technology, healthcare, agriculture, and food safety, ensuring the reliability, safety, and high quality of products and services. These standards aim to boost productivity and reduce errors and waste.
